Name: Brian Rintoul, PEng
Stats: Following graduation with a Bachelors Degree in Applied Science from the University of Toronto, Brian Rintoul spent a year as an Outside Plant Engineer with Bell Canada, before loading up the 1969 VW Karman Ghia in 1980 and joining the Urban Systems office in Kamloops. Over the next 9 years, including one year with Transport Canada in Vancouver as a Project Implementation Manager, Mr. Rintoul worked on a variety of municipal and First Nations community engineering projects out of the Kamloops, Prince George and Kelowna offices. In 1989, Mr. RIntoul joined, Terry, Barry and Glen to become T.R. Underwood Engineering Ltd.
From 1989 to 2005, Mr. Rintoul worked with a variety of clients, establishing several long term clients and specializing in mechanical design of treatment plants and pump stations and implementation of manufactured components into overall system design. |

Name: Rod Gobelle, PEng
Stats: Rod graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1971 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Road moved to BC in the early 70's and worked as a land surveyor before joining Urban Systems Ltd. in 1979 and embarking on his career as a consulting civil engineer. Rod became a member of the APEGBC in 1982 and evolved into the role of project engineer and project manager. Then, following in the footsteps of his current partners, he left USL in 1989 to join Terry and Brian at T.R. Underwood Engineering Ltd.
Through the '90s and into the new millennium, Rod has developed and maintained a stable client base consisting mainly of First Nations communities and private land developers. Rod has overseen completion of a variety of projects for these clients, including:

Alexis Creek First Nation water sysetm, sewer system and roads and drainage upgrading in the Redstone community as well as site grading and servicing of school, gas bar and residential subdivision sites.

Kamloops Indian Band Sk'elep School of Excellence site grading, servicing and project management.

Skeetchestn Indian Band water system construction and upgrading, subdivision developments, and Skeetchestn Community School grading, servicing and project management.

Williams Lake Indian Band water system and roads and drainage upgrading as well as subdivision development in the Sugar Cane community.

Wal-Mart site grading and servicing for their Kamloops and Quesnel properties.

Ministry of Transportation functional and detailed design of various regional highway upgrading project.
